hmmmm i would object and say that i am not a charity case but i second the recommendation but suggest that you keep it in your car as the problem is not so much that i dont have any towels merely that i neglect to remember to bring them paddling much to everyones amusement.

Meabh, you can leave a set of spare clothes, towels, makeup, underwear etc in my car, everybody else does.

Alternatively, I think that I might just put in a bag of generic one size fits all emergency clothes and partying gear in the car for randomers.  A bit like the way slapper keeps spare toothbrushes and knickers in his bathroom for girls who come home with him.
