This post contains general information for the day in question, running order and other stuff.......
Entry Fee is €5 (this covers prizes)
Registration is from 9.00am to 9.30am. Race briefing will be at 9.30am at the back of Lynams car park. At this time you will be given a number that will indicate when your turn will be to race (e.g. Team 1 will be first etc.)
Rescue will be provided at Jackson's following the briefing
Team race will start at 10.30 (you are encouraged to run Jackson's with your fresher after the briefing at least once before the race starts). Time permitting you will have 2 runs with your best time counting.
Spotivo BoaterX: This is open to 2nd year club members and upwards only. Format is 4 way head-to-head heats with fastest finisher progressing to the next round. Girls and guys will be separated for these races
Fresher BoaterX : Open to freshers (obviously..) same format as above.
Time permitting we will also have an in-till-you-swim event at the end. The winner will be based on the severity of trashing, freestyle moves and how amusing your distress is to the judges.
Expected finishing time is 14.30.
Prizes will be awarded in Lynams car park after the race at about 14.45/15.00

1. Fastest Team
2. 1/2/3 Sportivo boaterX mens and womens
3. 1/2/3 Fresher boaterX mens and womens
5. Ultimate In-till-U-swim swim fish
4. Best Swim
5. Best competitor
leaving plenty of time for everyone to clean themselves up.

Also....
Anyone who generally does rescue could you bring your rescue gear with you on the day you WILL be asked to help with rescue at some point on the day.
Boats:
NO playboats! NO stupidly long medieval creekers! please bring your normal creeker. Freshers please talk to your equipment officer regarding the most suitable boat to bring. please ensure it fits and PLEASE make sure that it has airbags!!
Ye one question, where exactly is dope on a rope? and also to freshers I suggest to start bribing Diarmuid for use of one of the clubs two perception javas! :P
Dope on a rope is the guy attached by rope river left at the bottom of jacksons. Airbags I am going to pop by I-canoe some evening to get one for the front of my boat

Balls - I was half tempted to try a few Hail Marys (only if the levels stays up). Wave wheels and kick flips in a creeker it is then.

Were you saying on Tuesday that the fresher races would be before the sportivo races?
Currently,
Fresher guys will have their own heats and Finals against each other.
The two fresher girls will be entered into the women boaterX but will get automatic qualification into the Silver Womens Final.
