Title: Fun Slalom Intro Day [Postponed]

Hey guys,

So, I've been in touch with the Irish Slslom Committee for the past month or so and they've given us a date for a nice Intro to Slalom day.

For those of you that don't know it Slalom is that yoke in the Olympics and it's fantastic for improving your boat handling no matter what discipline of paddling you do!

I've done slalom twice now and had a brilliant time both times I've been out, it's great craic and i'm pretty sure my boat skills improved just from that!

If you're interested in going to this, sign-up down below, the provisional dates they've given us are the 27th / 28th April, please include whichever one of these dates (or both) suit you in your reply :)

This is a great idea, fair play Diarmuid!  I did one slalom day and thought my boat control skills improved too. Also it's a great way of learning how to read the movement of the water and adapt your technique appropriately. I encourage everyone to get involved in this, it will be great craic!

The 28th would suit me best, my cousins wedding is on the 26th and I wouldn't be able to make it up in time for the 27th.

I game for either day, although the Annual Liffey Clean Up Day is on the Sunday and there might be a few weary heads after the lipdub after party on the Friday, but hey Paddling!

Okay guys, we're going to postpone this until towards the end of summer as a lot of people have said that this weekend wouldn't suit and in summer time it's National Squad training time!

We'll hopefully try have it just before college starts or in the first week of college but we'll see what happens!
