Hey Guys!

So it's Semester 1, 2013/2014 already! Holy shit I'm excited ;D

To start with, our pool sessions are starting back this week, Wednesday and Thursday from 2100 - 2230. Following which we'll be setting up residence in the new Clubhouse Bar, approximately 50m from the pool!

As you all probably know, the following week (starting the 16th) is Fresher's Week in UCD, that means some craic manning the stand at the Sports Expo and bringing new Freshers in to experience the kayaking! I'm also looking for anyone who has GoPro (or other) videos of the club, to throw them up on Youtube or send / give them to me so we can have them playing at the stand :)

If you're manning the stand and have any paddling medals then they wouldn't go amiss either ;)

For anyone interested in taking part in the Liffey Descent, please message me about borrowing a boat to avoid dissapointment!
We're also still looking for people for rescue, see here (http://forum.ucdcanoeclub.com/index.php/topic,11591.msg104296.html#msg104296).

River trips will also be starting back up so make sure you keep an eye out for news about that!

I can't think of anything else, naturally I've forgotten about 75% of what I meant to say, just reply to it and I'll ad it on ;)

Sounds class!
From what I've heard there are some boats to be tried out.

I plan on coming to the pool this week, I think I'm busy on Thursday though. Is Wednesday general paddling this week?

Unfortunately the surprise has yet to arrive!  But yeah it's all general paddling for now!

Don't forget,  lunch at 1!

Yep, To be announced shortly, likely in Week 3
