This Saturday we will be running a trip to the river Liffey!
During this trip we plan on holding
Level two assessments.
These are suitable for
all Freshers who have been to pool sessions and have been on a river trip!
(If you have been to pool sessions but still haven't made a river trip, sign up anyway! Even if you don't pass, it's a good experience, and we've had people pass on their first river trips before :) )
Those uninterested in assessments are of course extremely welcome along on the trip, even if it's your first day out!
Here is a link to the necessary skills for the assessments. If you are unsure about whether you know any of the skills, ask at the pool sessions during the week :)

Sign-up for these assessments will close at mid-night Thursday, in order for us to ensure that we have enough instructors available. After this time there is no guarantee that there will be a space available.
For anyone who is already a Level three paddler, or who does not wish to do their assessment, this will be open as a general river trip! :D

Hey guys,
Level 3 Assessments will not be happening this week, they will be scheduled for the week following the Lahinch trip!
It is quite difficult to run multiple assessments simultaneously and we feel that the two weeks extra preparation will benefit the Level 3 candidates hugely.
Level 2 Assessments will carry on as normal of course! ;D

Out out curiosity, anyone else miss read the thread title as Level 5 assessments? I was a little surprised and confused at first.
Yeah, you're good Peter, it's only really the people who haven't got a L3 yet that are limited by the deadline. And yeah, I read it as there being 5 assessments on :P
Confirming, will be driving if someone can give us a text when you're leaving the boathouse.
Due to what I think is some form of vertigo (persistent lightheadedness/ spinning) I'll not be going on this one.
