Okay I am fed up with having to stop paddling every 20 Minutes in the polo boats, because I can't feel any of the body parts inside the boat anymore - and I know I'm not the only one.. When I couldn't even hip flick properly during a t-rescue in the pool tonight I realized I really have to do something against it.. :-\
So I did some google magic and found this physio therapist who has/had the same trouble and came up with an explanation and some exercises. I'm gonna try to remember doing them twice a day and hope it'll help...
So here's some info on why it is happening: http://www.ebtc.ie/painful-numb-legs-when-kayaking/
And here's the exercises (incl. videos): http://www.ebtc.ie/painful-numb-legs-when-kayaking-2-exercises/
Thought that might be worth sharing..

Thanks Johannes!!! Let us know how it gets on, those polo boats can be a killer, especially when you're not used to them!

Brilliant read!
Slumping is just an all round pain in the ass for kayaking. And legs are far more important in kayaking than people think.
