Title: Resignation
Post by: Diarmuid on December 05, 2013, 18:29:21
Hi all,

Unfortunately I have to announce the resignation of our Equipment Officer, Deividas, who feels that he cannot continue in his position. I would like to thank him for all the work he has put into the club over the course of his time on committee.

Please direct all queries relating to Equipment to myself, Diarmuid as I will be acting as Quippy for the time being.

This, of course, means that the cub will be holding an Emergency General Meeting in Week 1 of Semester 2.
Nominations will be announced two weeks beforehand and a specific date for this meeting will be confirmed in the coming days.

Peace out,
D

Hi everyone,

We are scheduling an Emergency General Meeting (EGM) for the election of an Equipment Officer and (probably) to implement some changes to the Constitution on Tuesday the 21st January 2013.

Nominations and details of the proposed amendments will be posted a minimum of two weeks before the EGM.

Thanks,
D

Can I nominate myself?

Yep, it will require 2 persons to nominate someone (eg: you and one other person)

Obviously I'm not a paid member but freshers should also put themselves forward if allowed in the constitution, bit of committee experience will be valuable for the next couple of years.

Of course I'm sure Peter would do a good job too, just a suggestion :)
