Title: Varsities Bus
Post by: Poohy on January 14, 2016, 17:49:12
Hey guys! so this year we will have  quite a few people going down on the Thursday and it looks more feasible to have a bus on the Thursday for everyone.

The accommodation is also quite expensive this year. For these reasons we are thinking of bringing everyone down on the Thursday evening, not just polo and slalom. This would mean you are getting better value for your money by recieving an additional night while also dragging the party on longer! You get the chance to support your friends in every competition as well, while soaking up the festive atmosphere that GMIT are hoping to provide.

I have set this poll up in order to see if people would be able to take the Friday off college and get the Bus on the Thursday with everyone. You can get letters from the sports office excusing you from Lectures/labs/tutorials as you will be competing for the college. Plus, its only the second week :P

I would appreciate it if ye could fill out the poll asap if you are going to varsities as we need to try organise transport for ye.

Cheers lads!  afro.gif

Just a question, would it be possible to have the bus at a later time time than 6, like half 7 or 8 so people could finish off labs and the like?

Presumably the bus would be taking the M4. Would it be possible to pick me up at Applegreen on the motorway? It would add like five minutes max to the journey, I'd be waiting already.

Works out for me extremely well since I don't work on Fridays! Haven't been on one of our mad bus journeys all year! Looking forward to it!  evil.gif
