a female member gave me a ring to mind just before we got on the river on saturday. It's still safe and sound with me. I also left  2 decks of cards (stuck together with an elastic band) in Juan's house after the party. I think behind the couch.

I'm not sure if 'safe and sound' is the appropriate phrase here Dave - those cards were the ones you'd lost in my house in Kerry - I gave them back to you at Juan's house (great party by the way, thanks folks) - where you promptly lost them again, within a few hours.

well It's not that I'm not grateful for the effort that you went through in giving the cards to me, I am. It's just that timeing really is everything. and a party, when I was already tipsey in not the best place to give me the deck of cards. I almost lost bodyparts to that party. What hope did a deck of cards have? Although on the subject of leaving things at that party, I lost the feeling in a large area of my left hand at Juans party. It still hasn't come back.
