the GTx is the worst boat on the planet

it is a pig

weights a tonne
tracks like a banana
surfs worse than a brick

its seat is even more poorly desgined  than that of the "superstar"

Carl will tell you all about that one

o ya I had the worse day of my life on a river in a GTx
 (Gauley West V Day! of the big trip!)

Noel - I think you are projecting all your own attributes onto the boat:

You weigh a tonne
You track like a banana

And by all accounts, your seat is pretty poorly designed

The GTx is a decent river-running boat on rivers of moderate difficulty. However, that's all it does. Don't bring it surfing. Don't try any play moves. Don't bring it down very technically difficult rivers and don't weigh a ton as it does this for you.

definitely agree with noel, categorically the most ridiculous boat ever as its huge, heavy and uncomfortable, small boats get away with uncomfortable because theyre cool and surf, big boats get away with huge and heavy coz theyre comfortable, gtx does nothing remotely boat like and is horrible!!! but i am seeing carl's connection btwn it and noel....!!!! jokingly!!!!

YOU HAD THE VERRRY NICE CFS THAT DAY

since the GTx is desgined for bigger people(ie me) it should move well

it dosen't its crap

The Gauley is a grade4 despite what the Us of A says (bet you they'll invade now)

next day we ran it again and I had a great time in a lower volume boat

after all that I say boo to the GTx

its even heavier than my old MicroBat 240 which feels like its made out of 3/4 plate steel
