To collaborate with the college's Healthy Eating Week next week and to make Monday lunch way better this week we're having a Bake Day on Monday. :tongue1: So be at the canoe club noticeboard (beside weird yellow sculpture in the Arts block) at 1 o'clock bearing some sort of food that you made with your very own hands!! Note: Food must be edible :sign4:

For those who havent sampled the club's culinary delights yet, it is widely known that Dave Cox makes the worlds best pancakes and Amanda does a mean brownie! See ya all there! :snorting:

Phil you said this on Monday. In true Amanda style I did some baking but as I never got those lunch boxes back they remained in my fridge where they going them self’s eaten. Bold brownies.
 I’ll see what I can do but you know the savages I live with.

Yeah I meant for next Monday,anyway whip us up a suprise if you can. I'd ask Killian for the same but I know he'd come up with something filthy.

Meant to say I’m going home for the weekend and won’t be back on Monday.  And Louise and Christina have already made a dent in the second batch.

No they are really easy to make just need

2 eggs 8oz sugar 100g butter 4tbs coco and 4oz flour.
Beet the sugar and eggs till light and fluffy
Heat the butter and coco, stir into eggs mixture. Fold in the flour and bake at gas mark 4 for 45 min.
(Why can I remember this and can’t remember when I have labs)


I hope you are working on them improved pancakes for Kerry.

damn straight!
you think that'd be easy, but i have screwed up those instructions before, i think it was something like it said 75 mls of water to be added, but alas i was not wearing any glasses and i added 750mls :( it was a brownie disaster

sure my toaster sandwhich maker is still sittin in the corner of my kitchen covered in melted cheese after the toasted ham and cheese incident of 04

My toasted cheese toasty maker doesn't work cos my sister washed it. sank the whole unit into warm, saopy water. Thank god it was plugged out.

hmmm... im going 2 plan n make cornflake buns (rice krispie buns only nicer :-) ) but amn't promising anything..... i'll probs 4get!! but i reckons tis a great idea 4 d healthy eating week....
