Hey folks, the club boathouse has moved down to the sheds buy the philips building, and the locks have now been changed so not everyone on the committee has a key just yet, so keep that in mind if you're organising any trips!

Boathouse is at the red dot and has a green shutter door. Cars can gain entry via the car park by the Gym

I would join you and we could cycle but my bike came back from the house in churchtown with 2 flat tyres and i'm really lazy so they'll stay that way for a while! :D

Actually I would like to gain access to the boathouse to get my boat and paddles out. Might head to sandycove tomorrow evening, then to lahinch on friday. Was there at nine this morning but no one came to let me in. If any of our committee are knocking about could you please let me in?

I asked face to face yesterday waited at the boathouse the new one at nine like I was told. Who has a key cause they look like they are locked?

Do you know where the astro turf pitches are and the gym? If not come in the main gates of ucd, drive all the way around and head for the water tower. Yes I think it is a permanent. change.

It may not have a fence around it but it is secluded and we can always get one of those post locks.

There is a slip way from the carpark behind the jim to the newq boathouse. Easy access.

Easy access, a full drive around, secluded and no fence to be opened by services if we're late back or on weekends.
Unfortunately, those wankerous bastards at Sub-Aqua have decided it to be necessary to install a camera overlooking the entrance to the boathouses folowing the 2 break-ins that were made to steal some of the nothing they keep in their huge boathouse last year.
Not sure how this is going to affect our parties. Rest assured Sub-Aqua will be of no help and be the first to turn us in if there's a hint of fun near their estate.

There are no boat shelves up yet; everything's just thrown in. I haven't seen the new boathouse myself yet but until everything gets stowed away there may or may not be enough room to have a party.

Still and all, I think a nice sunny day by Tir na nOg on Friday, followed by an early evening boathouse party, then on into town, sounds like it could be fun.

but far be it from me to decide such things.

me and ríona went around there today so i would know how to drive in but there was a gate/fence up at the enterance of a road so i couldnt drive in, not sure if this was the way but we couldnt see another way! :?

until the fences which davedave mentioned are down, the easiest access to the new boat house is from the richview entrance. it is shown on the map that mark put up.
p.s. sorry kmck. i compleetly forgot about it. when do u want to get it?
