id def like to get out on the water when we're down there, so id need a boat, something not too big, not too small etc but iv no idea what any boat is called, so if someone cud just save me one i'd appreciate it! What are the rivers like down there, will it just mean continuous swimmin for someone who's done very little paddlin?!!

I have been advised from Mark Aherne that i should shotgun a GT... i did so as he informed me that a GTW is only suited towards the heavier people in the club he said, which he aslo said were the gril.... :)

Unless Santa brings me a boat (which I doubt), I'd love to borrow a club boat at some stage over Kerry.  I've no idea what you've got, or what would suit me...but something nice for a re-fresher like me to run rivers.

Cheers

committee first refusal would have been nice, Cian.  >:(

what else do we have that's like an Outlaw?

I'll take a Vertigo if there's nothing else... but if you think of something better, go with that. Every boat I've ever paddled has already been claimed. hmm... what to call...

not a prozone, inazone 220, or forplay, anyways.

Feck it, maybe just a GT.

We'll talk.

I can't believe this thread has only been up for 7 hours. I am not a happy camper right now. grrr...

Can we not just do as we did last year and bring all the decent boats and see who actually wants to paddle when we get there?

At some stage can I just steal something and pretend I know how to surf.

People will never get out of bed if they're allowed to call boats for Kerry. They have to be up in time to get the best ones. I call a series of invaders tied together as a raft with twine. I'll paddle from the middle one.

Thats right Kill 1st come 1st served is how we usually operate so why should Kerry be different? That way everyone can try out different boats for rivers and surf! :)

Ok so allowing people to call boats seems to be a bad idea. What is going to happen is that i will get asmany boats as i can bown to Kerry. Then every morning it will be a case of first come first served, or if i dont like you then you may aswell come last.

As reagrds private boats on the trailer, I would prefer if people would organise to get their boats down on cars. This way we will get as many club boats down as possible.
