car going well too. Cheers everyone for offers of paddler dudes. i'll take 'em all. and stick them all over my car. especially purple ones. I'll chase them up next time i'm in town, or else you can just give them to Jim. Thanks a mill.

What's this about carrige permits for roof racks? KmcK are you just causing trouble?

Post by: kmck on July 03, 2007, 14:39:32: Look just ring the carriage office, then go down to them you only have to have to fill out an extra form, they maybe online and have the medical form for a HGV driver filled in by your doctor. It only took two days for mine to come through. You can always risk it but I wouldn't want the fine or the points on my licence

Surely its not up to a doctor to decide whether or not you're fit to drive with roofracks- i thought thats what driving testers were for! I dunno, kmck- it sounds like a bit of a pain in the ass. I might just risk it considering i've never heard of anyone being checked for a roof rack permit
