HSA don't recognise the rec courses unless they are provided by someone who is hsa approved who covers the basic first aid required for your work place. Rec is a course of first aid designed for people involved in the outdoors. It goes through scenarios and first aid. While occupational first aid is what is know as a carpet course. You do it inside and just go through first aid.

Hey Ritchie post the cost as soon as you have it buddy as people will need to know well in advance this time of year. Any other time of year we could probably afford not too eat.

mark, rec 3 is a first aid course not a kayaking profiency,your instructor should not have needed a deck. im guessing that ritchie will be orgainising an accelerated rec 3 which does not require the rec 2 first.
