Title: Tuesday Evening Talk and Intervarsites
Post by: Mark on February 18, 2008, 15:06:22: Tomorrow Mickle is giving us a first aid talk (as per th older post), talk starts at 7.30, meet in the arts block at the message board.

Varsities is in limerick and it should be savage :D.

The lads in limerick have done a class job at organising it and they also have the Dee Cup on offer for us to win :D. Bus is leaving college at 7pm on the dot from the boathouse, which means if you want your boat on the trailer you need to be there at 6. The 7pm time is to accommodate those who won't be able to get to UCD for earlier (people on placement, with full time jobs etc.)

The cost of the weekend is ~~â‚¬65~~ â‚¬55 this includes bus, accomodation for 2 nihts and transport to all of the events, I'm told the accomodation is rather posh. At least for limerick!

I can't take the bus - I have to get a lift down early to do the polo.

dave is right there are way too many students with cars these days and hardly anyone takes the bus anymore. it's a way better buzz and half the fun of it is the travelling up as a group. and it makes the journey fly, cos from my experience the journey to carlow for fresher's weekend took ten minutes :P

yeh and i want to go to laois for a while to visit deedee on the way, and then support the ol' polo (club spirit woooo!!), so must car it :P
