Title: Lost after fresher of the year
Post by: Nuala on March 31, 2008, 13:45:10
Okay: my hat (black tricorn)
a longish black coat with a wine-coloured scarf in the right pocket
a green and fawn fleece hoody
a navy blue sporthouse (I think) bag with some drink and a ucd scarf in it

I have traced them to the trolley where everyone says they left stuff but no-one knows whether anyone took them away after that. Please, did anyone pick them up? Or will I ask services was anything left?

I'd avoid asking services what they found unless you want to get fined. On that note, if you are ever caught by services, all you have to do is NOT give them your student card and never admit to having done something wrong. This is the best, failsafe way of getting away with things.

I have had a look around services yard - there is a big skip full of wood and stuff with an empty trolley right on top, which might be our trolley. I couldn't see anything that looked like what's missing in the skip so I talked to the yard foreman, who put me on to the services office who put me on to first response, none of whom had had anything reported. This could either mean that someone else took the stuff before (any branch of) services found them, or else that I just haven't been able to find the right branch of services to talk to. But they don't seem to be in the yard anyway.

I'll try again soon in case they just haven't been found yet.

Thanks for the tip.

The trolley in the skip is a different trolley.
