Title: Free Bike
Post by: cormac on May 15, 2008, 11:38:20
Mark Chambers is looking to give a racer to a good home if someone wants one for whizzing in and out of college.  Would probably need new chain etc to make it whizz as such, maybe E50 in total, but it's yours for free if you want it.

David, David, so naive. Just be careful when you call around to Cormac's for your 'free bike.' If he answers the door in a smoking jacket and offers you a little drinkie before 'we take it for a little test ride' then be on your guard. Especially if the 'bike' is upstairs in his 'boudoir' for some convoluted reason.

He's pulled this stunt on all the message boards, and he's now barred from most of them.

Jim.

dairmaid how is it that when presented with a full shop of bikes you cant make a decision on any on them? this, despite spending the best part of an hour wandering around the shop. yet when presented with a bike you have never even seen and one which you have been told will need work done to it you jump right in?

because it's a well-known fact that no matter how crappy something is, it's worth it knowing you havent paid for it.
