Alright listen up...
The ICU Training and Development Unit have a weekend planned for qualified instructors to brush up on their assessing skills... and are looking for basic-intermediate paddlers to take advantage of their wealth of experience!
Over the weekend of the 13th and 14th of December, at UL Activity Centre, Limerick, you'll get a chance to get free assessments, training and certification, in order to allow instructors to practice administering these courses.
Saturday 13th December... Level 3 Assessment on the Castleconnell
Sunday 14th December... RSR 1 Free training and certification in the basics of river safety and rescue.... course normally costs €50 but this is your chance to get it for free - check out the details here
Email/PM me to sign up for either of these days in Limerick...

They did this a while ago at the training centre in Strawberry Beds and there was only me Karen Nuala and Niall who went (along with random others) :(
It was really good though because there was 2 instructors for everybody getting the RSR training
