Hey, its supposed to be raining next week in Wicklow, if it is, is anybody up for paddling the Aughrim on friday? Seeing as though there ain't no college and all that, and if there is water it'll be a savage day out!!!
-
i'd definately be up for that!
-
Actually i just checked the weather forecast for galway... And there is actually heavy rain forecast... Would people be for heading up to the Boluisce on friday?...
-
Or if there's any rain in Limerick we could go do the Clare Glens...
-
I think there's supposed to be more rain in Galway, but sure we'll see how the weather shapes up during the week.
-
No college next week? Last week wasn't the last week of term, was it?
-
No college next friday, 'cos it's good friday. and we've got the following monday off as well.
So a four day weekend!
-
Whenever, where ever,
We're meant to be together
I'll be there and you'll be near
And that's the deal my dear
Had to be done when you started a post with whenever where ever
-
More than likely game!
-
Glens?! NICE, lets do that.
-
Ah lads! No fair, I'm never gonna get to run the Glens :'(
-
I'd go local on friday, Glens might be a bit of a stretch.
-
Sure if there's room I'd be up for!! Depending on where it is, ha. Don't think I'd be able for the Glens, ha.
-
Guys, I'd love to join ya but Ill be in scotland (so much better than 'i dont have a right arm'!!)
One thing to note with all this Boluisce talk though , the Boluisce is damn/lock released, get onto the galway people about getting a release and planning a trip, I heard they are on good terms with the lock-keeper.

OR we could do BOTH in the same day! Think about it guys, two great rivers to paddle, loads learned and we'd get to spend time looking at Irelands sceanic beauty1. Then off home to watch CSI and go to bed 2. Who could possibly turn that down?
1 almost 600km worth!
2 assuming the driver doesn't fall asleep and plough into a tree
-
wat about a club trip down the flesk?? :) if freshers would be capable for the chosen river id be up for it
-
Any definate plans yet?
-
We have to wait to see what water levels will be like, since its been so dry recently i think we'll need a good bit of rain to get things working.
-
Heavy rain due tonight and tomorrow... I'd say we could be on for Friday
-
so what river are ye planning?
-
Depends on whats running and who's around, it'll either be the aughrim annamoe, depending on who's around... maybe something a bit harder, we'll see
-
Hey Aisling wicklow is running at the moment. The glenmac was a lovely level yesterday, also the annamoe is running, checked it today and with the rain coming in again tonight the annamoe levels will be bigger tommorow
Wow, looks like we're pretty well sorted.
