Title: Polo Bitches ond Ho's!
Post by: Matt Flood on March 28, 2011, 23:42:19: Ahoi hoi, so the training is going well - attendance is good and people are already showing signs of improvement 8)
Friday was mentioned earlier as another possibility for training. I'm up for it, but are others? If numbers are good we'll go ahead with another. Who knows, we might even play a match..... :police:
So post up if you're up for some of the best buzz around!
On Wednesday there will be a polo night in the pool in Cabra. DCPL players should come along to get a bit of matchplay formation experience. Oh, and show the other colleges what yous are made of!

they said in the email that its a great opportunity for freshers to get some experience of playing polo, so if you want to try it out even if your not doing dcpl come along :-)

Oh yikes! Poor Eoghan, I had teeth out and bled for a few hours, but this is the next day!
If you're bored later you could always come along and spit blood at the opponents, you might freak them out!

Heres what was said in the email:

Hi,
We'll be having our Dublin Pole league wednesday the 30th of March at 7pm (be there early, as it'll be a tight schedule) if you's are still up for it!

As i said all gear will be provided, all you have to do is get people there. Cost is 20 euro which will cover prizes for first position(and whatever we can get for second and third!!)

It's aimed at beginners, just so they get a few games in early for the DCPL polo season, but anyone is allowed to play. It's just gonna be a bit of craic!

We won (Trinity :D), drew (DCU :-\) and lost (DIT :'() one last night but twas a more about match experience more than anything else ^-^.
