This Officer shall be solely responsible for ensuring that there is no misuse of club funds, by the committee outlined above, and for conducting a bi-annual audit of all club accounts. The term of office of the Senior Treasurer shall be one year, and this may be renewed at the request of the Committee. They must be a University College Dublin graduate of two years. They must receive Athletic Union Council approval as set out in the Athletic Union Council Clubs Operations Manual. The Senior Treasurer should attend committee meetings, and is not a voting member at such meetings. The Senior Treasurer shall act in the role of Graduate Liaison Officer, keeping graduate members informed of club activities. They will assist the Treasurer in completing club accounts for the Annual General Meeting.

This Officer shall represent the new members of the club and shall take responsibility for integrating them and encouraging them to join in all club activities. They shall also be responsible for promoting new membership and for dealing with club correspondence concerning new members.
They shall have been in the club no more than one year, ideally.

The office of Entertainments responsibility will be to organise all club social events. They will organise that there is a committee member to attend and host events if they themselves are unable to attend. They will estimate expenditures of events and confer with the committee if the costs for an event are within budget and reason for a club social activity. They will request for the PRO to acquire sponsors for events that they see fit.
The entertainments officer will organise the activity timetable for club trips away such as freshers and colours. They will be required to book the social spaces where the event will take place with the confirmation of the officer of the Treasurer.
The office of entertainments (abbreviated as ENTs Officer) can be nominated if they are a current member of the UCD Canoe Club be it an enrolled student, member of UCD staff or within their year of grace with the club.

The position of Entertainments Officer requires two nominations.

The Office of Public Relations is to publicise the club and its activities both within the club and college, and externally as the committee deem necessary. The office of Fundraising shall be to create a year-long plan for club fundraising projects and to delegate these projects to club members

The Office of Treasurer shall be to keep a record of all transactions carried out by the club or on behalf of the club and to endeavour to ensure that such transactions are carried out in the club's best interests. This record shall be made available to the committee on request within seven days or to a General Meeting. Completed and signed club accounts for the period since the last AGM will be presented by the outgoing Treasurer at the AGM. Monthly details of club accounts will be published by the treasurer online a month in arrears for all members.

The role of Safety Officer is split between two club members who share an equal workload and are to work together to help one another fulfill the role of Safety Officer. Although the workload will ideally be split equally the role will be split into Safety Officer and Assistant Safety Officer. The Assistant Safety Officer will endeavour to help the Safety Officer in their responsibilities. The Safety Officer will guide and mentor the Assistant Safety Officer so that ideally they can be the Safety Officer the following year. The completion, and subsequent passing, of the Safety Statement will be tasked to the Safety Officer while Risk Assessments and After Trip Forms will be ideally split between the Safety Officers throughout their time on Committee.

The Safety Officers shall endeavour to ensure that any measures that the committee deems necessary for the safety of all club members be implemented. The Safety Officers shall be suitably experienced for this task in the eyes of the outgoing committee. These measures, in the form of a Safety Paper, shall be recorded in the minutes at the first committee meeting and subsequently may be amended at further meetings. The Safety Officers may recommend removal of membership of any person who fails to heed the Officers' instruction.

The Safety Officers will oversee the development of river running skills up to and including Level Three Kayak Skills proficiency. The Safety Officers will ensure the availability and visibility of the club Safety Document to all members.

The Safety officers must be one of the following 2 options:
1) Be of level 4 river kayak skills standard
2) Be of level 3 river kayak skills standard AND have the endorsement of the outgoing committee

The Training Officer shall be responsible for the organisation of weekly training sessions and whatever other teaching requirements as may be deemed necessary by the committee.
The Training Officer shall endeavor to support the continued development of the skills of club members in all disciplines offered by the club (namely whitewater, freestyle, polo and long distance) and assessment thereof where applicable.
The Training Officer shall also promote the participation of club members and representation of the club in kayaking competitions of all disciplines.

The position of training officer requires two nominations.

The Equipment Officer shall be responsible for maintaining all club equipment and ensuring that all club premises be kept in a good state of organisation and cleanliness.  The Officer shall also recommend what purchases should be made and keep an inventory of what equipment is available and any losses incurred throughout the year.

The Equipment Officer must be of level 3 river kayak skills standard

The Office of Secretary shall record the events and decisions made at all meetings, and to deal with all of correspondence (post, email and other where applicable). All minutes and correspondence shall be made available to members of the committee on request within seven days, or to a General Meeting. The Secretary shall also be responsible for the organisation of all meetings and all club trips. Monthly details of committee meeting minutes will be published by the secretary online a month in arrears for all members.

Committee Nominations 26/27 / Captain

The Captain shall endeavour to ensure that the aims and objectives of the club shall be attained. The Captain shall be responsible to the committee and they in turn shall be responsible to all members of the club. No member may stand for the Captaincy unless they has attended at least 50% of club meetings or activities in the year preceding their term. Nominees for the Captaincy must be in at least their second year in the club, must be a student of the college during their term of office and should have served at least one year on the committee. The Captaincy can only ever be held once and for a maximum duration of one year.

The position of Captain requires four nominations.
