I'm just after getting a Palm axis this week. It's comfy and it helps me float; though I can't say I've tested it comprehensively. However early indications are good. Not overly expensive either. Seems to be a popular option.

Anyone have a Stohlquist descent BA in size L/XL I could try on? Chris O Loan has some going cheap(110euro) and from the reviews they seems very good but everyone especially recommends "try on before you buy" especially for this BA as the shoulder straps aren't adjustable..
