Paddling the Shannon
« on: February 26, 2019, 08:45:32 »
Hi guys, looking to paddle the Shannon from source to sea (Almost) Over the Summer, Either June or August Bank Holidays, or if those do not work, Sometime in July.

Dowra Village to Kilrush on the estuary. Approx 300km. Over 8 days its about 5 hours light paddling a day in sea kayaks.

Spaces not limited in any way, but if we get bad wind on one of the lakes it can get pretty tricky.

BYOB (Bring your own boat.. and beer I guess)

Anyone here interested?

Info doc I've been putting together: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Zygp2ltXziBcvmxlOgg0FUcSTAhs98XaYAeYt2ReUGw/edit?usp=sharing

Any questions, please ask.
