Loads of paddling shops store boats on their nose to save space.Get a soft, but waterproof mat to put under the area the boats are stored and they should be fine. With the new gear coming in, it does seem a good tie to take out the old system completely and resdesign the boathouse.

I would help, but i'm a little too far away. Good luck with how it turns out though.

The storing them on their nose has a duel purpose, saves space and acts like a natural selection device. weeds out the ridiculously stupid from the UCDCC gene pool....

gene pool? are you suggesting the club should be reproducing?

damn you for organising cleanup on sunday, I'll see what I can do. if there's reshelving afoot some time I'll try to be there for that but I must warn you I'm probably the least handy engineer ever. after all I'm just a chem... I'll do the plumbing or something.

I don't think that he has Brendan, he may have met carl but I don't think he realises that carl is a dad and responsible member of society.

Err, Blake, Neil, Joules, Gavin, and Ross, all who featured in the Bloopers video, have sprogged.

Then there's Daddy Carl, e.g. moi!  Uncle (soon to be Papa) Brendino....

And don't get me started on Joe Whackers

Dave,

Ive no problem fixing up the shelves. Havnt loads of time but certainly willing to give a weekend over to get the boathouse back into full working order    :P .

On there nose sounds good, but dimensions must be looked at, as all the boats are different dimensions. Also new timber may be need to construct a framework. If someone designs the system ive no problem whipping it into place.
