Freshers polo tournament!

The fun starts here!

DCU have come up with the great idea of hosting a canoe polo tournament for freshers in all the different
college clubs in the area.

Canoe polo is a fast-paced, skillful and tactical game that's kind of like basketball played in kayaks.
You've got a ball and you have to get the ball to the other end of the pitch and put it in a goal suspended
above the water. To do that you need to pass and (safely!) push opponents out of the way.

It's a great way of developing skill an confidence in a boat and hopefully we'll get you guys playing in the Dublin Canoe Polo League (DCPL) in the Spring. We've got two teams in there at the moment, the Div.4 Space Cadets and the Div.3 Supernova.

It's all easy enough to pick up as you play and we'll try and do some work on it in the pool.
there'll be substitutions and we should get a few matches.
This competition will inside a swimming pool and will be 4per team. 
It will be held next Wednesday (21Nov) in the DCPL pool in Cabra.

Yea pretty .much everyone who doesn't play regularly can play in this, i suppose (and niall can confirm this) that even those of you in div4 who aren't too confident in your skills could get on for a bit and have a bit of practice??

I reckon that we should give priority to fresh freshers, who are actually freshers. If there's space they I'll put your name down too. Lack of space doesn't seem to a problem yet though...
