Alps Bible from 2005
« on: April 17, 2013, 18:34:58 »
Having a browse and I see some references to our old Alps Bible. It's still available and as KMCK says contains our experiences from 3 trips of up to 45 people each. Hopefully it's still useful - we did have plastic boats back then  ;)

It's here: http://www.oocities.org/ucdcc_alps_trip/

You'll have to write an Australian bible now Colin, best of luck with the move!

Some four hours later having drank our way through an untouchable collection of 6 years old drink (white wine does not age well!) we have updated the pages accordingly.
Haha! I still remember the taste of that white wine - we met in Cormac's kitchen when he lived around the corner from Whelan's and he had it over his cooker. Barf!

Oh, and this is the best piece of advice:
Quote
Every Alps trip is different, every moment unique: in years to come you will look back at the coming days as some of the best in your life; don't waste a single moment and don't screw it up! Treat everyone with the respect they deserve, say sorry when wrong and compromise; do all this and then revel in the love!
