Turkey race 20th December
« on: November 08, 2015, 14:09:53 »
Anyone want to do this with me. It's a Canadian race from Templemills weir to salmon leap(bout 5k). All entries go to St Vincent de Paul. There's also hot mulled wine and mince pies before the race

Interested turkeys
Canadian one:
Simon
Ailbhe(maybe)
Ross
Gp:
Naddy

Barely related, but in a town in west Cork, could be Castletownbere, at Christmas they used to have a duck race, where a duck was released into the harbour and the first one to catch it won and could keep the duck if they wished.

Jeez, you be leaving it pretty late to get a turkey on the 20th...

So is the duck race there like coursing for kayakers ?

So provisionally it's new ross and Ailbhe in the Canadian. If Ailbhe can't come then someone else can join, first on that list is Naddy :P
