ALL the college Kayaking clubs in Ireland come down to
Glenbeigh for a week of
paddling, partying and funThis year is a bit different to previous years where we stayed in houses. We are
staying in A hostel called the sleepy camel and are being
joined by UL and possibly GMIT!WHen?From the
28th of december till the
2nd of january

And as per usual UCDCC fashion, these include your dinner, and accomodation
possibly even breakfast :O
Make sure ye dont miss out on our very own
QUIZ NIGHT which will be held in the
OLD GELNBEIGH HOTEL on the
30th and of course who could forget
NEW YEARS!So for all you freshers:
What to bring???- Clothes (obviously…) and GOOD WALKING SHOES (There will always be impromptu hikes with Peter O'Sullivan arround)
-LOADS OF THERMALS!!!!!
-Sleeping bag and pillow (You are not guaranteed a bed, so if you appreciate staying warm and cosy at night, a sleeping bag and pillow may be required!
if you have a ground mat too…more the merrier!!!)
-Money (We’ll cover the dinner and breakfast but you’ll have to supply your own alcohol and if you want snacks too! You’ll also have to cover petrol costs for the drivers too!) The nearest ATM is in Killorglan!
-Snacks! (These are handy to bribe people into letting you squish into the already packed bed, bringing you for a breakfast roll when you can’t stay vertical, and many other briberies
)
No way of getting there? DOnt worry, we have that sorted to! Pop over to the lifts thread located here:
