Joining club
« on: October 17, 2007, 11:51:37 »
Hi,

Is it still possible to join up with the canoe club?
I have done a bit before - was at a few pool sessions last year but never made it to  the a river trip. Mad to give it a shot again.  :)

Thanx
P.

hay paddy, no you are definately not too late.
we meet up every thursday night at the gates of trinity at 20:30 and go to a pool just off oconnell st. for this all you will need is your togs, towel and a bit of money for the pub afterwards.

then on a saturday we meet at the boat house on campus at 10:00. (i think that there is a link to a map on the home page). for saturday bring, a wet suit if you have your own if not the club will have one for you.a pair of booties or old shoes and an old fleace to wear under your wersuit. you dont want to wear anything cotton coz when it gets wet you get cold.

keep an eye out on this board for any more info or you can call or text me on 0861988050

Yeah, that's the pool.

If you're still in UCD, check out the yellow sculpture in Arts at lunchtime.
