Polo Friday 23rd of April
« on: April 20, 2010, 21:28:44 »
Ok, we have another two matches scheduled this Friday. This time against Te Waka and DITCC again.

Who is interested in playing?

Bear in mind that it is last day of term, it is probably going to be nice and sunny and a certain amount of drinking is thus probably going to happen.

And if you are interested in playing when suits for training?

It would be ideal if people were sober, but I'm not in charge it's up to you. Are you playing on Friday Niall?

I've a vague notion that you are not allowed to be drunk playing polo in competition. This may come as a shock to us but other people just have higher standards than we have, we do have very stict standards they are just very low!

Grand, I doubt I'll be playing considering I've been sick half this week. Just remember what number BA's ye are. If there are no numbers 9 and 10 available (that's Eoghan and Jer) knock myself and Karen (1 and 2) off the list and use those numbers.

Hey, can't find the post that had bus information and directions out to cabra.   Does anyone remember what bus it was that goes out to the pool (heading from town) and how close or recognisable is the stop?

The buses 39, 38 70, all go by the pool. the 39 leaves every 15 minutes from hawkins street via dame street outside ulster bank.
The pool is just after the car dealerships on the navan road, so when you pass the mc donalds press the button for the bus to stop!
you could get the 10 from ucd which goes up the north circular road, but you'd have to get off at hanlons corner and walk about a 1 km.......
