Freestyle coaching - Saturday May 26th
« on: May 13, 2012, 14:46:21 »
Howdie folks,

So some of you fine people have been going to Sluice lately and to be honest, it's been pretty dam impressive.

How would you guys feel about getting a few days of proper coaching from a proper freestyler?
Kick yo' all onto the next level!

The main requirement here is that you need to have a good moving-water roll.
If you're not too sure if you're in that category then maybe send me a text or a pm and I'l have a chat with you.

Alternative, get going to Sluice now and that'll really help you develop a solid roll.
Getting the boat properly outfitted for yourself will also really help.

Boom!

here's some videos of what freestyle actually looks like!

Bam!
Smack!

Attending the course:

ME!
Maryanne D?
Marie D?
Niall F
Cormac
Eoghan D?
Bill D?
Diarmuid D?
Karen D?
Cillian D?

Who wants to drive?

(and in a few years, the guys in those videos might even be old enough to go to college)

Cool, it hopefully won't be too pricey at all.

It's the same guys in both videos, they're there often ( I hear that's how you get good).

When roughly would people be available for this kind of thing?

Also, it might not be possible to take everyone. Please don't be offended. The decision on who get on will be based on Paddling ability (mostly how dependable your roll is), group strength and getting drivers ( which hopefully won't actually come into it)

I was thinking more like ASAP

Time's a wasting.

There could be more than one day though. Another day later on would also allow people the chance to hone their paddling and be able to do this.

Folks: Get out paddling on suitable water as much as you can!

If people are heading to Suice for example, you don't have to go into the feature. The few hundred meters after it provide the best training ground we have for honing those skill you need for your level3, rolling or just improving
