Even better than the idea of Diarmuid doing so well while asleep on solid ground, was his reaction when he heard he had come 15th...utter confusion and amazement and a 'was I really that tired that i just can't remember paddling the race' look on his face PRICELESS!

Well done for getting the results!

Katie finished ahead of me though
Best case: they swapped her and my name by accident
Worst case: they made stuff up

Oh varsities. FLASHBACK

Hey Stevo, Katie's wondering if there's any chance of getting times?

Cool!
Do we have any idea how many men and women were participating in the GP race?

I was wondering this too but they don't seem to have been included on the speeadsheet I received which I'm told is directly from UL.

Cool!

Again I've no idea but I could look into it and try to find out.

Even better than the idea of Diarmuid doing so well while asleep on solid ground,

So the lesson for next year is. Register everybody for some category regardless if they are planning to compete. Hope that in the haze of the weekend we get points for people sleeping, I like the logistics.

For anyone wondering, to my knowledge there is next to no chance of getting times for the long distance.

Here is the spread sheet of the results, which took, for some reason, a huge amount of effort to get. Hadn't realised you guys didn't get them or I would have sent them on about a month ago!  ;D
