indeed. but you weren't on your own list.

anyways... does this look to anyone else like a really odd group of people to put together? hmm... I suppose it'll counter this new cliquiness anyway.

It wasnt really "my own list"...it was a list of the people who had replied to this thread....... ::)

id prefer to fly direct than have to worry about getting around. the return bus would probably be 20 euro or more anyway so that wouldnt be worth it

so flights thursday to monday are 130,

what tickets are we looking at cause they range in prices from 30-74 euro. but the 30 euro tickets look like you wont be able to see that much, so should we go for the 40-ish euro tickets or what do people think?

looked up hostels and stuff and could get decent enough (from the look of websites) for 20 euro a night? but im sure people who've been to amsterdam before would have more of an idea about that!
http://www.hostelbookers.com/hostels/netherlands/amsterdam/

170 + hostels (4x20(?)) = 250 + getting around/food = 350+

hmmmm.....

http://www.aerlingus.com/cgi-bin/obel01im1/bookonline/flightInputLookupDispatchAction.do?BV_SessionID=@@@@1034668013.1201529128@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccgadedeidlklecefecfigdffgdfkg.0

...the airlingus link above keeps timing out "session expired" when I try to link it here....anyone know how to do a screen grab.... ???

We can get there for under 100eu...but it is more of a wed-sat deal..... wont suit anyone working... :(

e.g. depart dublin wed 5th March..(3 nights)..return Sat 8th march...92.65 all incl...

      depart dublin thu. 6th march..(3 nights)...return Sun 9th march...162.95 all incl..

      Fri 7th - sun 9th...222.65..(2 nights)...yikes.....

      Sat 8th - tue 11th...(3 nights)...117.65.....

If someone can do a screen grab (or even take a digi photo and post it) from the airlingus website it would make this much clearer..... :)

Check out www.easyjet.com too.  They fly from Belfast international airport direct to Amsterdam.  It's not that far a drive to Belfast and could be a fun road trip (and not that pricey if petrol and parking is split) to start the weekend on, or bus trip as the case may be.  I found flights out on Saturday at 09:50 returning Tue at 17:40 for EUR60.88 return.  I don't know if these dates would even suit but it might be worth looking into.

:) Hi Siobhan...yeah Belfast is an option I suppose......it sounds like a good price....but.....well we know what the downside of it is.......

From the list above, Kerry is the only other working person (I think?).

I'd be as happy to take Wed - Fri off and do this as a Wed - Sat thing, as to go Thur - Sun and wind up probably having to take Monday off to recover. Either way that's 3 days off work.

How do you all feel about missing college?
