Emm, Karen, "id est", despite being used in certain circumstances by English speakers, is in fact Latin...
Also Kieran, the "tastic" words are all derivatives of the word "fantastic" and thus adjectives, if you are going to butcher the language for your own amusement do it properly or it just seems silly.
And I concede the point that the old style of e-mail was in fact more effective: in order to be more aggressively enthusisastic the words would have to have actually left the screen and frogmarched readers to the boathouse...
