several things
1) Leighton please don't give out directions to places that you don't kno
2) the 17 is the worst bus in the fleet, but it is very closely followed by the 18 and 16. The 17 wins because of its rediculous route, you can sometimes see UCD but still have to wait another 45 min till you get there, also the 17 regularly either displays the wrong number or just blatantly doesn't stop (there really is no excuse for this when your waiting at the terminus!!!!)
3) the Shaw is about a 20 min walk from the RDS so stop all this talk of busses. walk up to the canal, turn west (thats left!) and walk past the luas, past the hilton and keep goin till you reach the porobello pub, then turn left, walk for about 150m and there you are
4) no there is no parking, its beside the flats so even if there was you still wouldn't get your car back
