Paddles, lost, sniff...
« on: February 03, 2009, 15:56:18 »
I managed to lodge myself in a tree just below Castletown raipids last Sunday, and while I was extricating myself via an exceedingly thorny few bushes, watched sadly as my beloved paddles floated serenly downriver ne'er to be seen again....

They are black with some yellow and green tape and my name and such on them. If anyone happens to be up in that neck of the woods and comes accross anything matching that descripition I would be most grateful. Overjoyed in fact!

Information their whereabouts will be richly rewarded.

Karen, there´s a lake with a non passable dam just downstream of castletown rapids. Your paddles are in the lake. Search the lake. Before you do though, get onto Salmon Leap Canoe Club because they train on Leixlip Lake and might have found them.
