Has anyone run Ennistymon falls? What are they like? I was thinking of getting a run on them on the way down to Lahinch

Ennistymon goes up and down very quickly, It'll need rain next |Thursday or Friday to be up. At a low medium level its quite easy, the only problem is the landing of the big drop is shallow so a good boof is important. At high water there are some big holes! If its up I'll be running it! Also its only 10min from Lahinch so you can run it on Saturday as well.

This was low water.

Its great fun and great for photos. Maybe a simple comp, anyone with L4 cert is timed one run down. OFBs do rescue. Total length about 250m. http://www.irishwhitewater.com/river_guide/river.php?id=253

I engage in aggressive intercourse with men, women and beasts I dont have a level four.
That explains what you've been up to in the Wicklow mountains.

On the comp side, maybe a points system for completion of the rapids. Fresher swim free completion 8 points, 2nd yr 7points, 3rd yr 6 pts. OFB 0 pts. Swim - 8. and so on.

on the river swim needs to be followed by an on the river score to avoid penalty... score can be substituted with puking on a fresher (of if you're a fresher on the opposing clubs captain).
