Boat try-outs!!
« on: February 03, 2010, 17:13:23 »
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hi, hey, hey, hello!!! We need to try some of the fast boats out and see what ones leak!! I want to do this on Sunday but I need people to help, especially freshers!!! It's nothing hard, I just need guinea pigs to try the boats out and it will give you some practice for the long distance!! Even if you aren't doing it you can come too!! Any reason to get wet!

It will be in the Dodder which is only 5 mins from UCD so we can walk ( I'll drive with the boats on the roof!! ). I really need help with this, it would mean a lot if people could help me! Plus this is the first time the club will have a shot of the Dodder so you'll be making history!*

* This is not a proper trip, merely a static of a flat section to test the boats!!

Smugs and Misses!!!

Leroy.

Come on everyone - if you are free at all do this! The racing boats are great fun, and if you try one out and practice with it a little before varsities you can use it in the Long distance, which will make it way more fun (mainly because it will take less time)

I can't help with the trying out but I'll help with the repairs if I can.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out, the turn out was amazing. I'm very pleased that you all could try the boats out for the weekend coming and get comfortable. I'm going to do more of these boat-try out days seeing as they are this popular!!

On a serious note, thanks Yu.
