basic rescue practice
« on: September 14, 2010, 23:43:25 »
Hi guys,
In advance of the arrival of our new freshers we thought it might be an idea to take a quick look at basic rescue for grade 2 water. Basically the bread and butter rescue skills used on club trips on the liffey ect. aimed at 2nd/3rd years.
so we'll have a rescue focused river trip on the liffey this saturday from sluice to wrens.

however this is being run as a private trip so there won't be a bus going, we'll meet up at the boathouse on Saturday morning at 10am.
sign up here if you're interested.
Dave.

I'd be interested dave but I will be driving from home, might bring along my friend sean as well. You are asking me to get up and start driving at 8:30, I can either meet you in sluice or meet you at the boathouse later.

Problem with that would be it is a river trip, so while it could run all day long it isn't static so I would wait at wrens If i was you then at least you could catch the group. You ring i'msure some of us will have phones.

Got it! I'm invited to a free gaff the night before... hmmmmmmm
I'll see how it goes...stick to a drink or two and be up the next morning...get my rescue on...that might be a winner!

Diving in Cork but I do have two major events under my rescue belt, so hopefully that'll make up for it!!!
