That sounds very exciting altogether!
I won't rule out that some people might do that, but I don't think it'd be a club trip...and I'll be in the library...I wonder what their policy on tents is? ;D

If you noticed at the get on at buckies they'd dug up the old camp grounds. Coilte seems to have clamped down on camping in the area.

Yeah but i'm not expecting the whole club to turn up & camp out in the one spot. I'm sure there are plenty of small places to camp around, i'd imagine thats what many people competing are gonna be doing.

If you go up into the forest across from the bend in the road for jacksons there is beech planted if my memory serves this would be a relatively flat spot. Down from Lynhams beside the glenmacnass been used before. There is a sign up saying that camping is now illegal under coilte by laws. This isn't new but it is up in the area and all it takes is for them to send a forrester( this is the kind of evil person Leightons training to become) in and they call the gardai. Sucks doesn't it.
