If you need extra rescue at any stage, I'd love to help out and learn a few things.

Great idea! I think we'll be taking you up on that.

Yep, trip's to the Liffey, I'd be up for sluicing again!
Hey Maryanne, my car started acting up today so will be robbing Sue's fiat 500 to head to sluice, don't have a roofrack for it so I'll have to squeeze the boat inside. Doubt there will be room for a passenger so you'll probably have to make your own way over for early sluice.

I'll be aiming to get on the water at 11ish so I'll see anyone who's interested there.

Grand so, I'll try and arrange a car, should work out fine.

Hey guys,

Due to unfortunate circumstances and in spite of huge efforts (Bill probably rang all the instructors in Dublin at this stage), we were only able to find one instructor for this Saturday's trip and as such can only bring 8 participants for L3/L2 training.

The fairest way to decide who goes is to take the first 8 who signed up, which is:
Steven Mulrooney
Deividas Rainys
Conor Mohan
Aoife Sheridan
Garbhan Gorman
Kate Barry
Paul McNally
Naddy Jones
...Could you all confirm that you're coming?

If anyone can't make it the next people are:
Micheal O'Brien
Ellen McGrane
CiarĂ¡n Dunne
Michelle Carty
...If you wanted to come to the boathouse in case someone can't turn up on the day, that's fine.

Sincere apologies about this guys, with Wacko on this weekend most of the instructors from the greater Dublin area are competing or working.

...unless there's someone else who really needs to get some training in on a river? I'm happy enough with my skills for the assessment.

Conor Mohan

I can confirm that I'll be going tomorrow.

Hmm...we'll see if all 8 confirm first, then might get back to you...

Steven Mul

Ok I need to know before 6 because if I'm not going I'll go home tonight. Otherwise I'll stay up and go tomorrow :)

On second thought, I think I'll stick with the club tomorrow morning, hopefully this will only amount to wussing out, but for fear midterm week continues to take it's toll (haven't slept much) I'll try and save energy for the club trip.

I might jump on early while the groups are warming up and get in a bit of a play...

I plan on heading out to sluice over the break though.
