Lol, prescription sunglasses, nice!!!

Evan

Leighton stop getting distracted. Your mission is to find someone who will be going home from Kerry on the 30th. You already have the space down filled so thats have the job already done for you by Jer

AENGUS!

I'm not quite sure exact dates yet...but will head down either the 28th or the 29th and will be leaving on the 2nd probably, or maybe the third....

So the days there aren't river trips we can use club gear to go surfing?!

And is the trailer bringing gear down?....or do we collect it or what's the dealio?

Nuala

We are trying to organise a trailer down at the moment, which will bring club boats and some gear. As always, bring lots of fleeces and thermals and warm gear yourself, you are there for the week and it's new years, so not the warmest.

finch

Any idea what dates the club paddling will be on ?? Or will it be sorted once we get down ??

Amanda

If kerry had a santa we could just get rid of Chirstmas, it's only in the way really.

I won't be in any club house but will be there for river trips :)

Am i drunk yet?

AENGUS!

OK.....Third time lucky! :P

Can we go surfing every day in club gear?! ;D

Oh and thanks for all the other answers guys!!

the story with gear is a bit confusing at the moment.

right now the ucd canoe club gear may only be used on official club trips.

i have been talking to the appropriate authorities about this and there is a chance that we may be allowed to let people borrow club gear in kerry. this is still just a possibility, NOT a PROBABLILITY.

if you are in kerry for the fulll time there should be atleast two river trips, this however depends on availability of instructors, water levels, flat tyres, bruised bodies, hungover drivers, disease, famine, natural disasters and any thing else that you can think of.

:P

You can always borrow stuff, there's bound to be someone too tired or hungover to paddle who might not mind lending their boat.

Sick Boy

Leighton, if you're driving, I'll take a lift. I'll probably have to come back on the 30th anyway, so that'd suit me.
I'll keep you awake with ghost stories, or singing or shouting or something. In fact, you might never sleep again...

Diarmaid

do what I did my fresher year. get drunk, say loads of twisted shit in a game of never have I ever, and then your passengers will be afraid to sleep on the way home! and once they're awake, it's easy for the driver to stay awake.

Ley-Ley

If you are sure you'll be coming back on the 30th then that suits me!

Towelyey

its really great that we're all very experienced at making up damn good excuses for getting "stranded" at canoe club things  ;D ;D
