UCDCC Ball 35 Year Anniversary, The details

Greetings Fellow Disco Paddlers!!!

The Ball This Way Comes!!!

As promised all details about the ball will now be revealed!!!

Where? The UCDCC 35 Year Anniversary Ball will follow tradition and take place in Lynhams Hotel, Co. Wicklow.

When? 3rd of March. Photos and general reception at 19.30, dinner at 20.00 Sharp. There are 20 free drinks vouchers to be given to the first 20 people to arrive.

Why? Cause It's a damn good excuse to have an EPIC Party!

How? Huh?

How Much? A measly €50 which includes a 3 Course meal with a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 deserts, 3 bottles of wine per table, if you book a table of 8 you get a 4th bottle free, a drinks voucher for the night an epic amount of craic, numerous chances to win shit, and the possibility of gettin the shift!!! Tickets will go on sale in the near future (TBA)

Accommodation? The IMC hut is booked for all members too cheap to stay in the hotel for the night, or who just feel they will be too drunk to enjoy the comfort of a hotel room (standard). This will probably cost €10 per person (Committee will confirm this).

BoaterX? There will be a fantastic paddling event during the day (starting at around 09.30) which will be open to all members, regardless of level, stay tuned for more info on this.

Facebook-Photo-Like Competition? There is a pre-ball competition on the facebook page, which gives you the chance to win 4 drinks tickets, not to be sniffed at for all you cheap-ass students.

Let's Make It A Good One In recent years the ball has endured a slow decline in numbers, from what used to be around 80 attendees back in 2006/2007 to only around 60 last year. In order to give the UCDCC, and indeed the ball, the celebration it deserves we implore all you disco paddlers to encourage all UCDCC affiliates to make a special effort to attend this ball. If you're a student: Starting pinchin those pennies, steal some money from your baby sister, sell your body as a life model for some NCAD students!! If you're an oldie: Dust off that tux, send the kids away to russia for the weekend, bring the wife/hubbie, just come to the ball!!!
