Getting out in the pointy boats (marathon)

Douchier · April 16, 2012, 23:00:49

Deadly, this is shaping up nicely...I just hope we have enough straps!

Garbhan and Niall; when do you guys want to head out?

Diarmuid · April 16, 2012, 23:04:23

i'll bring in some straps, better set a reminder for myself

Niall Finch · April 16, 2012, 23:08:42

I'll go Wednesday plesase ! This'll be deadly - also a thought, we have Friday off and the Library will be closed so we won't r=feel bad if we don't study, paddling friday also ?

Douchier · April 16, 2012, 23:32:19

You are going paddling...you've got polo!
That's in the evening though, what did you have in mind?

Niall Finch · April 16, 2012, 23:39:05

Ah yes I did forget about polo, well depending on drivers and what not, maybe a static at sluice ? Just for a short while, so that we're not all wrecked for polo
All this depending of course if it's running.

DervM · April 17, 2012, 00:04:49

Bagsy Lawrence!

Niall Finch · April 17, 2012, 00:12:02

Dibs the tipsy Gola - can't wait to get wet !

Nuala · April 17, 2012, 00:29:55

Remember that you can't get anywhere near the boathouse on Friday, so if you are doing marathon training (or polo) you'll need to get gear or load the car on Thursday.

Good point!
Friday at 13:00 - all buildings and campus will be evacuated
Friday at 13:30 - all gates will be closed
-> so make sure to get all the gear you need well before then, there will be security teams all over campus under very strict instructions to keep everyone out.

Diarmuid · April 17, 2012, 07:08:21

i'll be around to grab polo gear before 1 on friday anyway

HelenaC · April 17, 2012, 09:36:55

Diarmuid · April 17, 2012, 11:16:15
