Club Boats / Gear for Kerry and Christmas Eve Paddle
« on: December 18, 2007, 23:37:51 »
Hey folks,

We are having a bit of difficulty finding a trailer tower for kerry and at this stage its time to start thinking about what to do if we don't bring it down.

I am disregarding the thread about boats for the trailer. Please post here if you cannot make arrangements to get your boat down.

If you dont't know anybody driving down with a roof rack then give me a shout (0861973079) with a text message.

Arrangements will be made for allowing people to pick boats up from the boat house on their way to kerry.

So in summary:

Post here if you are using a club boat in kerry and don't know how to go about brining it down!

I also meant to mention there's a crowd meeting at the boathouse at 10 on christmas eve or the annamoe at 11 for a christmas eve paddle. The more the merrier - I love the sight of 40 UCD heads clogging up jacksons!

Hi Mark,

I have space for 3 boats on my car if
a. I can collect them on Sunday morning from the boathouse or
b. collect them in Wicklow on Christmas eve and
c. someone else ties them up, i don't want to break a nail.

I can't bring any other gear though, blades etc.

Okay I have at the moment I have three spaces on my roof rack at present. However I may only have one by friday. One is reserved for cathy as she asked me first. This is because I may be taking people with boats in the car.

Oh this means I need access on the evening of the 26th or the morning of the 27th. On kit wise just get people to take the gear with them.

Eh, due to my roofrack falling off, I can't bring any boats down, but it's ok cos my creeker is down there and I have a  lift for my Star, so what I need is

a. someone to drive my boat to all the rivers in Kerry. All of them. Even the ones I don't paddle on.
b. someone to bring my bunghole down for my Star.
c. someone to teach  me how to roll and rescue me every time I swim!!!
